Our Services

Embrace. Empower. EmBARK: Autism Community Strong!

At the Savannah and Goose Foundation, we are dedicated to serving autism families in Maryland and surrounding Pennsylvania counties. As a 501(c)(3) organization, we offer a range of services aimed at providing vital support to these families. Our services include:

Autism Service Dogs Program

We raise funds to send dogs to training for autism service and tracking. These specially trained dogs work with autism children who have issues with self-regulation and elopement. Our program collaborates with trainers specialized in obedience, detection, tracking, nose work, behavior modification, and interruption, ensuring that the service dogs provide valuable support to the children and their families.

Financial Support for Autism Families

We raise funds to provide financial assistance to local autism families who are struggling. This includes purchasing much-needed medical supplies and covering the costs of essential therapies through co-pay assistance grants. Our goal is to alleviate the financial burden on these families and ensure that they have access to the resources they need for the well-being of their children.

Post Graduate Scholarships

In response to the nationwide shortage of therapists, we are committed to offering post-graduate scholarships for students pursuing further education in speech therapy, occupational therapy (OT), applied behavior analysis (ABA), social work, or clinical psychology. Upon graduation, we assist these students in connecting with local outpatient offices in need of such therapists, fostering the growth of a skilled and compassionate workforce.

We are dedicated to making a meaningful difference in the lives of autism families and are committed to providing comprehensive support across various aspects of their journey.

Support and Advocacy

We offer support and advocacy services to autism families by providing funding for family therapy, hiring school advocates, and securing educational attorneys when needed. Our aim is to empower families with the necessary resources and support to navigate the complexities of raising a child with autism.
